I have lived as a Mapuan.. I will die as a Mapuan

An essay written by.. I'm not sure if it's by my blockmate James or someone else. Anyhow, it showed how we stood up for what we believed in that day, Feb 14, 2005. While everyone else was celebrating Valentines day. We were out there, fighting what is right against those power-hungry and money lovers. We cannot let the Evils triumph. We shall never say DIE.


First time in my life i had celebrated a
valentine's day in a different way. Yesterday,
February 14, 2005, was really a day of hearts.
Not only for lovers and friends, but a big heart
for dignity, loyalty and respect.

Once, i dreamt of having myself in a basketball
game, wherein every mapuan is given a chance to
shout and cheer for our alma mater. Once, I envy
every lasallites and ateneans, wherein they were
always given every opportunity to express their
support and love for their school in every UAAP
games.. Once, i wished for every mapuans to be
united in one goal and stop this "selfishness"
stuffs.

Once, God had heard me, and it was yesterday. But
whatever happend yesterday, will not just be once,
and once will not be enough.

Yes, I thank God for giving us this big chance to
be as one, to shout and support.. "Maybe not in a
Araneta or in a basketball game" though, with
the same goal, to win a one BIG fight.
A fight thatwill change and hold our future.
Just Pray mapuans, we should not waste this opportunity to
show love. It is God's call and will, for mapuans
to be bonded.. God Bless us..
